CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 13 May 2020

The Government’s directives about reopening businesses on Sunday were somewhat superseded by developments on Monday and Tuesday when it was declared on Tuesday evening that all estate agencies could reopen from today, 13th May.

Because of such matters as what has had to be closed down and changed over the past 7 + weeks, furloughing staff, child care and above all the health and safety of our clients, applicants and  staff,  to open overnight is a practical impossibility.

  • The current situation where our office is closed but with telephone and email communications are dealt with daily will remain in place until Monday 18th May.
  • Subject to our clients’ agreement we may be able to arrange limited viewings
  • From 18th – 22nd May our office will be open as normal between 10.00am and 4.00pm and viewings and valuations can be arranged on a managed basis.
  • After the Bank Holiday weekend, on Tuesday, 26th May, we shall revert to normal hours with a full Sales and Lettings service.

In the intervening period we shall be launching many new properties to the market via our website and portals as well as remarketing other properties which were on the market before lockdown.

It is paramount that we follow Government Guidelines for viewings and social distancing in and around our offices.

Above all, the safety of our staff, our clients and YOU are our number 1 priority to enable us to continue to give the service you deserve and expect from Bright & Bright.
